Had my Doctor's appointment this afternoon. I got the official results of my blood test. Cholesterol was good (3.9), Good results on my liver, body fat was good as well. My blood sugar was 43mm. What surprised me is this was not the 3month fasting test. This was done to see if going on anti depressants was affecting my blood sugar. Doctor said my diabetes was under good control. Doc also said my headaches could be due to depression and stress. ( I occasionally get headaches or feel a heavy head feeling, I explained this beforehand to him

The sting in the tail is at my surgery there are quite a few locums, and I practically see a new doctor each time. To get an appointment with the regular doc would take weeks.

Had a lovely chat with the pharmacist, I explained about my health issues. He advised me to self test my blood sugar, and advised me to do this and show my doctor. If it shows that my results are low then the doc may reduce my metformin dose. I will have to order new strips ( I last used them waay back in early October).......SO HERE GOES

I hope the evidence from the testing clarifies things for whichever doctor you see next! 🙂 Well done on all the great results 🙂
