So, just back from my first appointment at the DB clinic and still trying to digest the results. I am now down to 81 kg from 95 kg on April 15th. More importantly however, my HbA1c is down from 135 to 43 mmol/mol.

According to the Doc: The results are so impressive she is worried I might be a weird Type 1 variant!

Whilst weird T1 variants exist, and, of course, I am not saying you couldn't be one, but almost as uncommon in the wide world are T2s in remission by their own efforts.

I say, bask in your success and keep going. A BIG well done.

I thought 83 -> 36 in 3 months was impressive, but that beats it! Well done.

(All I got from my GP was, "you got that down quickly. Do you want statins?")
