While I was in hispital last week, I had my retinopathy screening and I've been really worried about the results because of all the fun I've been having with my numbers. I was sure there would be something, but I was wrong. I had the letter today to say there were no diabetic changes. That, along with the neuropathy results I had at the end of last year means I seem to have got away with it so far. I aim to get better control this year, whatever it takes.

Yay! Virtual jumping up and down here.

Well done Alison, if we all stopped fearing the worst from these tests, wouldn't life be easier :D. Nice positive attitude about taking control in the year ahead, good luck.
