Hi everyone I'm 46 yrs young had type 1 for 36 yrs metronic user for 15 yrs and a cellnovo user for a year .
I am interested in doing some kind of voluntary work around north Yorkshire area I live near Harrogate not sure who to contact, any ideas

Good for you, your experience will no doubt be extremely useful to others, especially people new to diabetes 🙂 Nice part of the country to live in!

If you have time you might like to join Diabetes Voices. There are monthly prompts about current issues, and encouragement to raise these with MPs, GPs, CCG, PPG, ....They provide any support needed and you can do as little or as much as you want to.

As Northerner says, just contact Diabetes UK, and they will have a wide variety of opportunities available.
