Good Morning and hello to all

My 13yr old son was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes on Friday so spent the weekend in the hospital getting educated :confused:

He's home now and gone back to school today 🙂, he seems to be at ease taking his own blood glucose levels and insulin

My wife is the one that's worried, I just keep telling her its all about routine and he'll be okay but you know mums

His school already has some pupils who have diabetes so they will have processes and procedures in place to help my son

Anyway enough rambling from me

Hi Irfanali- and welcome glad to hear your lad is managing well.There is a lot to take in at the start we are a year in and still learning!.Just wanted to say that my sons diabetes has /and will not stop him doing anything that he didnt do before[ we just have to plan abit more now] feel free to ask away someone will always help and advise
