Hello,

I'm new on here but not so new to diabetes, Type 1 for 35 years.

I use a Medtronic pump and continuous glucose monitor to keep me going. Unfortunately I have accumulated a wide and varied selection of complications over the years but recently am managing to get the best control in all my time of trying. Thank goodness for technology lending a very welcome helping hand.

Nice to meet you.

Hi Flower, welcome to the forum 🙂 I am very sorry to hear about the complications, but it is good to hear that your control has improved significantly - how long have you been pumping and had the CGM?

Hi Northerner

I've been using a pump for 12 years, worked out what all the controls and menus do by now! I started using CGM about 2 and a half years ago. Could do with a few new bits of me to stick canulas and sensors in as have a I'm not brave enough to stick needles in my legs problem!

Hi Flower (love the name !)
Welcome to the forum and sorry to hear about your complications. You've come to the right place - so if you have any questions please do ask away !

Hi and welcome to the forum 🙂. My son has the Veo too, and sensors when I can afford them! I love having the continual readout from the sensor, especially overnight. Do you use them continuously?
