I am new here and thank you for having me.
I have had diabetes for 10 year since diagnosis, although I think I may have had it longer. About 4 years ago I had diabetic keto acidosis and was in emergency. I look forward to be here.

Welcome to the forum.
Would you like to say a bit more about how you manage your condition, what medication and dietary regime do you follow, is what you are doing keeping your blood glucose at a level you are happy with.
Ideas have changes about what is effective since you were diagnosed in that it is recognised that a low carb regime can be as effective as medication for many people, not all and some will need the help of meds.
Is there anything you would like help with.

Thank you for the welcome and
And questions.
I take 4 metformen per day and 78 units of insulin basaglar. I am still struggling to keep my levels low enough. I don't eat a lot of sweets. I do have rice or potatoes or pasta along with my meat and vegetables for supper. I have neuropathy. Lots of pain.
Yesterday I noticed a bruise on top of my foot even though I never injured it.
I never even went out anywhere yesterday.
I did go for a walk on the 11th.

Thank you

I wonder if you need a better medication regime as the insulin you are taking is quite a high dose which is not uncommon if Type 2 but it is only a basal insulin so is not really intended to cope with the carbohydrates you are having for meals and you do seem to be having quite high carb foods.
How are you testing your blood glucose, CGM or finger pricking as it might be worth you checking the effect of those foods on your blood glucose by checking before you eat and after 2 hours.
It may be that you need a bolus, short acting insulin as well to deal with food.
What sort of blood glucose levels are you getting.

Sorry to hear about the pain and neuropathy you are living with. Long term pain can be really difficult :(
