Today I'll be Diabetic

I feel I know I will

An inner strength has hit me

It will be there tomorrow, still



Those choices will be good ones

It's time to have my say

I will balance my diabetes

Every single day



Repercussions of me slipping

Will not occur.... no more

Feels good that I am on it

Of that you can be sure
