Hi, i have tried looking for advice online. TD2 with well controlled blood glucose levels and recent Bba1c was 48. I am testing high for glycosuria and not sure if this is just normal.
Any advice welcome please - p.s. hope you are all keeping well, 🙂

Hi and welcome.

How do you manage your diabetes? Certain diabetes medications like the "Flozins" cause glycosuria because that is how they work.... by encouraging the kidneys to excrete glucose into the urine at a lower level than normal.

Keep yourself well hydrated @Pipsqueek

There can be an increased risk of thrush on ‘flozins, so it helps to drink plenty and keep things moving I think?
