Glucose Monitoring Adhesive

As well as being a type 2 diabetic, I also have meth acrylates allergies. This means I am allergic to adhesives. I have been offered the FreeStyle Libre 2 plus to monitor my blood glucose and wondered if anyone else has been using this who also has the meth acrylate allergy, without any issues. I emailed the manufacturer but the adhesive is proprietary information, so they couldn’t give it to me. Thanks

Do you think a barrier cream like Cavilon might help? Is it a skin allergy / contact dermatitis reaction you get?

Could you wear a dressing underneath the sensor?

This was from an American source but it is likely that it is the same adhesive. Mastisol is a medical adhesive made of Gum Mastic, Styrax liquid, methyl salicylate, and SC Alcohol 23-A
