I have been using the Glucomen Areo meter now for a few months and the meter is a nice meter, with the NFC and with an adaptor so you can Bluetooth reading to your phone.
But I am having major problems with the screens on them, just come to change the lancet in the out and about meter and the internal screen is cracked again. Would not be too bad if this was the first or second time, but this is now from memory the 4th meter that I have cracked the screen on. It's always kept in it's case and in my coat pocket, tonight's broken meter was in a quilted coat so had a bit more protection.
When I have previously spoken to Glucomen, they said they not had problems with others cracking their meter displays.
Up until using the Areo meter I have never had a meter let alone 4 physically break, I have had the odd meter fail electronically. All my previous meters since 2000 have been kept in the same way, one in the house and one in my coat pockets for when out and about.
Fingers crossed their c/s will be as good as usual and send a replacement meter.
