Hi

I am finding some stats out for our local DSN on which schools have gluacgon available in schools. So this question is really for the parents of children with diabetes or for the younger members who may have recently left school and had glucagon in school.

This is for any type of school, nursery, primary, secondary or even college.

If you could let me know an area ie town and yes if glucagon, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks.

Hi Adrienne,

I am diabetic and am in year 9 in a girls grammar school, they don't provide glucagon in my school but i do have a box there which does have it but i do have to supply it myself. I hope this helps.

Hi Adrienne,

I do keep glucagon at my school med centre. I have to provide it. The upside is the staff in the Med Centre are all fully qualified nurses so are more than capable of giving it should I need it.
