Like all medication it depends on how you react. I had no problems, but eventually ran out of options and went back on insulin. The pens are good, try and get a small needle, i was initially put on 8mm ones, which are too long. Dont forget to rotate hour injection sites, use upper thighs and stomach (avoiding belly button), should give you a montge before you get back to the start.
