TWO part-time nurses from Gloucestershire have received a special award for their fight against diabetes.
Duo Gail Winter and Debbie Sibley were honoured for their contribution to diabetes prevention by helping sufferers across the borough understand their condition.
They were announced Bank Nurses of the year at a ceremony held at London's Victoria and Albert Museum.
The award for NHS professionals recognises the vital and ever-increasing contribution bank nurses play on a day-to-day basis.
