Hi, is anyone using the Glucomen CGM as advertised in the latest Balance magazine?

Thanks for reply

I think FreeStyle Libre (and Libre 2) and Dexcom (G5, G6) are about the only continuous monitoring things I've seen people mention using. Partly that they're well known, I guess (and Libre's prescribed for many of us), and Dexcom interoperates with some pumps in useful ways.

(I like that Glucomen Day CGM has many reusable bits. That's attractive and I'd love for other manufacturers to do similar things.)

Just been told Libre 2 is being prescribed but Glucomen looks tempting but not available unless self funding.

I’m currently self funding the Dexcom but have been having trouble with the glue on the patches. Have since been told I’d be eligible for the Libre on NHS, but saw the ad in Balance for the Glucomen. It says no problem with adhesive and many parts recyclable, so looks good. Just wanted to make sure there’s no problem with getting sensors etc.

I *almost* tried it, but the person who had a spare didn’t include the transmitter.

I have a feeling some found the performance / accuracy a bit patchy?

Think I’ll ask the DSNs at the hospital if they have heard anything about it. Thanks everyday!
