Does anyone have really bad flatulence taking Glicazide? I’ve been taking it a few months now and it’s not calming down - my stomach making growling noises aswell !

Me Too, I've been on them for a couple of years now and as you say, it doesn't get any better. Most embarrassing at times.... 🙄 :(

I used to be on it and had bad flactulence, but that all went when I moved onto insulin.

Yes I take metformin with it. I seem to be ok with metformin on its own so not sure if it’s the mixture of both that’s causing the problems?

You could try taking the gliclazide 30min before eating as suggested so your pancreas has a head start on producing more insulin to cope with the carbs in the meal and then take your metformin mid meal as many have found that causes less stomach issues.
Is is only since taking the gliclazide that you have had the problem?

Yes I take it with Metformin and was fine taking 240mg per day but when it was increased to 320mg per day it was a nightmare. I do have IBS (D) though.
