THERE was plenty of Christmas cheer in Amesbury as a group of friends reached their fundraising target to support research into juvenile diabetes.
Twin sisters Emily and Katie Brown, eight, and their friend Emma Bailey organised a Christmas family fun day at the Bowman Centre on Saturday with Santa?s grotto, face painting, games, stalls and refreshments.
The event raised ?700, taking the amount the girls have raised since they started fundraising in April to more than ?3,100.

Well done girls! 🙂
