I don't know if this is just my GP but at the moment I have been completely left to my own devices to manage my diabetes.
My 3 monthly clinics have been cancelled and I have not had a blood test for this in over a year now.
I can not transfer to another GP as there are no others covering my catchment area.
I have even thought about going private.

Has anyone else had this issue and what is my best cause of action ?

Ring up and ask for bloods to be done. I had to do that and it works. Don't wait to be called by the practice.

Consistent with the first couple of replies, GP practice invitations have dried up for me too but I've been given access to blood tests and reviews on the two occasions on which I've asked
