Hi, since I was last here I'm delighted to say that I have it under control.

Back in the spring my BG was high and going up instead of down so my doc referred me to the Diabetic Centre and I had a phone consultation with a doctor from there.

Then I went in hospital with a suspected stroke and whilst there spoke for five minutes to a diabetic nurse and learned that I had in fact been managing my condition wrongly from the start.

I had always been a snacker so I stopped snacking on crisps and started eating proper meals and from being anything from 16.0 my levels have dropped significantly so that some days I get three reading of under 7.0.

I'm a Christian so I also give credit to God through answered prayer.

That's fantastic news, Poppypat! Congratulations on all your hard work.
