Started Tai Chi on Saturday and loved it - amazing tutor makes the steps look effortless and she was so graceful - her name is Yang Yang and she has been teaching Tai Chi for over 30 years.

I managed most of the stances including 'the rooster' 🙄 back hurt slightly afterwards but I guess I used muscles I never knew I had... I was so clunky you'd thought I'd been wearing wellies...:D

Have my 2nd Relaxation and Meditation class on Thursday and then swimming... hopefully after 4 weeks I will be the most relaxed, calm and flexible person I know.....😉

I do Tai Chi, it is wonderful. I was advised if some positions hurt adapt it. Talk to your teacher.

What style and form are you doing, I do yang style long form

I do a similar activity, Chi Kung................these exercises help me warm up and prepare before commencing Kung Fu training.........

Its amazing how small, subtle movements can warm up the body and work the muscles.................just this alone requires a basal reduction for me.......😉

There is also a tai chi form for diabetes, although I haven't actually tried this yet.

I do my Thai Chi every morning, I couldn't do without it.

May your Chi flow freely..........😉

One manager used to make fun and say I'd kick the (rude word) out of people in slow motion and another said he'd rather have a typhoo moment.
