Just got this link from via Martyn on Twitter. It's a beautiful short animation about being diagnosed with Type 1 and the effect it has on you.

Really worth a watch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZXkrCvQhWg8

Mike, thank you for posting this link - it really made me think and, with all the doom and gloom around the Big D, it gives a really positive message. 🙂

A great message and such a good animation to go with it. Very well made video 🙂

Thanks for posting Mike

Really liked this Mike 🙂

very good you dont imagine how many times we think if graham is like he is because is diabetic or it would have been with a different personality one thing that i am sure of T1 did not make graham stronger it make me as a mother more determined to make graham future better especially after a few years learning good things and especially BAD things in the sistem and i hope i can pas all this to graham as his growing up graham still to young all the sides od living with diabetes

Just got round to watching it and it is excellent. Good find Mike.🙂

Agree that the constraints it offers up can focus your attention. No point in dreaming of the impossible so concentrate on what you can do and try to do it well.

And it does need a talking duck. 😉

Rob

Great film - and all the better for featuring a duck! 🙂

That is so good I have after 14 years of internet use, I have just discovered there isn't a download option on youtube. Which is both a shame and a bit sad because I have watched an awfull lot over those years and never thought of saving any of it.

/waits for somebody to point out where the button is and make me feel stupid:D
