Gastroparesis - first stages

One of our members @AJLang has lived with gastroparesis for many years and may be able to offer some suggestions?

I think it might include feeling full sooner than you would expect to,
perhaps nausea and/or vomiting as food doesn’t pass through the stomach as it usually would.

There are some suggestions on this NHS page

Thank you. I’ve been constantly bloated since the beginning of December and I feel completely full after eating a small amount of food. I’m now starting to get nausea. Also at times I get some strange blood glucose results. I’ve been taking Buscopan but it hasn’t made any difference.

Buscopan is more for stomach cramps and colic, I think @Flower3333 Have you had a recent coeliac screen? How long have you had Type 1? Have you been to the GP to rule out other causes, eg gynaecological, gallbladder, IBS, etc?

I’ve been Type 1 for 39 years. It’s actually BuscoMint which I’ve been taking and it’s for bloating according to the packaging.

I had gynaecological checks when I had an ovarian cyst removed in August. I felt slightly boated at the time but it was never constant.

I’ll give my GP surgery a call next week.
