I dont know whether anyone is in the same boat, but am totally confused over what to eat as i dont eat vegetables, quinoa, fruit, and there is too much conflicting information out there.
Have fallen off the band wagon re diets.
Have been type 2 for 1 year taking metmorfin, statins and gliclizade.
Totally confused over what to eat- perhaps a no food diet would be more appropriate.

no food diet would be more appropriate.
I hear people doing the 800 calorie diet plans & I can't contemplate what a days worth of food would be on that allowance.

Personally I eat a lot of green leafy veggies but many people on a very strict ketogenic diet don't (though I don't get how that get sufficient vitamins/nutrients etc) but a large part of their diet consists of fat (in it's various forms) & fatty foods (good quality fats though)

Hey Malcolm, welcome to the forum! Must be a bit of a challenge if you don’t like veg? Is there any that you could put up with? What about mushrooms? Nuts? Have you read the thread on food? There are loads of ideas that might help?

It might encourage you to know that it’s very possible to retrain your tastebuds to like things which you’ve detested all your life. In my case it was tomatoes, baked beans and dark chocolate, perhaps veg could be something you might grow to enjoy.

What would you eat in an average day Malcolm? Gives us a clearer clue of what’s going wrong from your food choices.
