For fruit, anything tropical, bananas, mango, pineapple, grapes and dried fruits, for veg starchy veg like potatoes, parsnips, some people tolerate sweet potatoes, sweet corn and peas and beans. If you are testing then the best thing is to see if you can tolerate small portions of those. Even tomatoes can be tricky, cherry ones are higher in carb than standard toms.
The book or app Carbs and Cals list different fruits and veg so you can compare to make your choices better.
It comes down to portion size and how often you might have those things.
But testing is the key to making good choices.
For example you might be OK with a small potato and some green veg like broccoli but not a potato and some peas but Ok with peas and broccoli.

Like most things about diabetes I’m afraid ”it depends” 🙄😛

As @Leadinglights says, in general more people seem to struggle with fruits from hotter climates like banana, pineapple and mango possibly down to oranges, where apples and pears tend to be more ‘mid pace’. But as with all things there are big variations from person to person so one person may be fine with apples but bananas are a no-go, while for another both might be fine, and for still another neither might be good choices!

Many people struggle with grapes too.

The type of fruit that seems better tolerated on average is probably various types of berries.

Do you have a BG monitor to check your own responses by taking a reading immediately before and again 2hrs afterwards? Ideally you’d be looking for a rise of 2-3 or less between the before and after checks.

It really does depend on the individual, and don't forget, timing. I seem to be able to get away with bananas and grapes as dessert after a decent meal - presumably it smooths the sugar hit?
