Diagnosed type 1, 6 months ago. I have my bloods under control but seriously missing a fruit snack. All I manage at the moment are blueberries or strawberries for breakfast but I am seriously missing some melon/nectarine/ pomegranate etc when watching TV. So far the only safe snacks I've found are nuts and pork scratchings. Any idea's????

Well if you are on basal/bolus insulin and you carb count then you can have whatever, as long as you allow for it with insulin. If you don't want to have another jab then just add the fruit to a meal, increase the bolus you have for it relative to the carbs in the fruit - and enjoy your pudding!
