I always go for either tinned or frozen.

What do you go for?

I don't mind fresh or frozen fruit. I'm okay with frozen veg. I can't stand tinned vegetables or tinned soups...yuck!

A mix of fresh (mostly) and frozen.

Any type of vegetables are good to my taste. Fresh can be either bought or home grown. Also use dried on occasion, although opening a tin of kidney beans, for example, is quicker and easier than soaking, boiling for the right time etc. Plus, our neighbour often gives us veg, fruit, salad, coleslaw etc that is a day past use by date, as she knows we'll eat it rather than waste it - or occasionally give some items to our ducks.

Almost all fresh for me, from the local market so I can buy one-person quantities. The exceptions are frozen peas, an emergency supply of cauliflower, casserole veg for stews, and tinned sweetcorn and petits pois with baby carrots.

Fresh for me though I do keep a few tins of stuff like toms, peas and beans. I buy fresh whenever possible and either cook and freeze or chop up and freeze in small portions.

Fresh for us too. Over Christmas Tesco were doing large pineapples for ?1 we bought and ate three in all.
