Hi soobeetoo, welcome to the forum 🙂 Is your friend newly-diagnosed? I would suggest having a look at our Useful links thread - in particular I would recommend reading Jennifer's Advice and Maggie Davey's letter, and getting a copy of Type 2 Diabetes: The First Year by Gretchen Becker. These will all give your friend a good understanding of diabetes and how to bring blood sugar levels under control. Please ask any questions you may have and someone is bound to be able to help out! 🙂

That was quick!!

My friend has been coping for years but now needs more support, so I am trying to find friendly stuff for her to join, do not want her to feel isolated. I am the one who needs to know more. With your helps looks like I am in the right place. Thanks, soobeetoo

Hi Soobeetoo, welcome. It's good that your friend has support from you. The reading material that Northey recommended is all good stuff, but you or you friend are bound to have questions. That's where we come in. With a diverse group of folks at all stages on the D-journey, we can help with quite a lot of suggestions, i.e. what's worked for us.
