Hi all. Been a while since on here. Life...and deaths kinda distracted me for a while. . Just applied a new FL2 sensor . And, unusually, a small spurt of blood came out of the small hole in the centre of the sensor!! I've never had this happen before. Should I be worried?? Will the sensor still work reliably?? Has anyone else experienced this?? Hope I don't bleed to death...albeit verrrrrry slowly !!!

Fear not, you probably just hit a blood vessel when you applied your sensor. There is nothing to be worried about, your blood will congeal as usual and you won’t bleed to death through it any more than bleeding to death when you prick your finger.
You are not the first to experience this and won’t be the last. Here is another thread asking the same thing.

My last one bled copiously, but as they say "bleeders are good readers". The only thing was a huge bruise all round it.
