HELP NEW TO FORUM. I FIND THAT THE LIBRE SCAN SHOWS READINGS ALMOST DOUBLE TO THE FINGERPRICK. IS THERE ANYONE WHO CAN ADVISE HOW I CAN COPE WITH THIS

If it is consistently reading with that degree of inaccuracy get in touch with Abbott. It may be faulty.
NB are you keeping hydrated? I have found that not taking enough fluid on board can make the libre read a bit higher than normal.

You’d expect the first 24 hours of readings to be a little more ‘off’ than general. Also readings will show variation where BG is moving rapidly.

Sounds like you need to call Abbott so that they can troubleshoot this sensor.

If this happens all the time it may be that your body chemistry doesn’t suit Libre? Different sensors suit different people I think.
