It's so difficult, isn't it? 😱 I managed for a couple of weeks without one after my first one, but now I've been wearing the second one for a week I'm already starting to miss it before it's even finished! 🙄 I'm sure others know what I mean :D I'm going through the process in my mind of justifying the cost based on the fact I no longer drink alcohol or smoke, and at today's prices the £25/week for a sensor would equate to a packet of fags and three or four pints at today's prices - I used to get through that in less than a day! 🙂

Even though I've always been relatively well-controlled I have learned a lot from using the Libre - fortunately mine have been pretty much in line with blood tests, so I have confidence in what they are telling me and am doing fewer blood tests each day, but managing to head off a lot of potential lows 🙂
I'm working on a two weeks on, two weeks off routine, I miss it a lot when I haven't got a sensor on. I've had to juggle a bit so wearing one coincides with my next holiday. I had to decide whether to use one sensor and have three week gaps either side, or two sensors with ten day gaps in between. Needless to say, I've chosen the ten day gaps!

I think they should come with a very addictive health warning myself :D, I'd be bereft without mine now.
Personally I think eventually you're (otoscope ? silly iPad lol) going to lose the argument with yourself against buying more sensors.
it's headed off a few potential lows with me too :D

They are a good tool for seeing trends & what foods you can tolerate, what effects blood etc. I really do play a lot of Chess on the comp. I hate to loose & have tested lots of times bg goes down when testing ? (head working) ? 😎 Good luck with them Ljc

I have just bought one. On Omnipod with Novo Rapid. Idea is to use for a few weeks to get bolus, basal and temp corrections spot on but will probably want it always once tried.......
Been using the Libre for 10 days now. I can see rises and falls overnight I would not have noticed otherwise. Great when more energetic than usual. Have been setting a basal correction, checking, amending, checking. Wish I had one when first went on pump as would have been less guess work regarding basal rates. Don't think I will wear continuously, have 3 more sensors will use one for when on holiday and another when have an unusual none standard week.

Same here. 😛 I don't think I'd be exercising again like before dx if it wasn't for the Libre. I did the "Carrera de la Mujer" yesterday (you know, lotsa women in pink t-shirts walking/running for breast cancer research) with a group of friends. I 'flashed' every ten minutes or so and actually enjoyed myself...more of that, plz.:D

I love mine, I find the graph so informative, seeing what's happened when has helped me sort out a few problems. the trending arrows's very useful esp when it's straight down.

It's a shame the sensors are so expensive .

I've been using the Libre for a few months, having bought the starter pack and then got hooked! This week for the first time I forgot to place my next order so will be without one for however long it takes for the next delivery to arrive. I wish they offered a subscription service!
