Hi has anyone had cause to call abott due to faulty sensors?
Mine gave intermittent readings yesterday and is giving me nothing today after 10am, after working since last Wednesday.
just wondering what kind of response I’m likely to receive. £50 Too expensive for it not to work.

Yes if you ring them they are really helpful, they might ask a lot of questions about serial numbers and what happened etc, but they will almost certainly send you a free replacement. Keep hold of the old one though, they might want it back, they will send an envelope and tell you what to do if that’s the case.

Exactly as Sally71 says, they are very helpful. Answer the questions and they'll send you replacement sensor. But, they will want the broken one back in the envelope they'll send you.

I too have called multiple times over the years I have been using Libre.
They have always replaced my sensors after asking a list of questions which they walk me through on my phone (probably do the same thing if you use the reader).
The office is only open weekdays so like gp surgeries are busier on Mondays. I give the hoards time to get through on Monday morning and call after lunch so not waiting for as long.

I called on Monday to report one that fell off before the first hour, they are sending me a replacement. I was on the phone for about 20mins before call was answered by a person though.

Yes give them a call. You’ll get a faster response talking it through with a person on the phone than emailing them.

I had 3 faulty sensors in a row!! The numbers were showing that I was constantly LO and wouldn't increase, then another one kept telling me to re scan in ten minutes before telling me I needed to replace my sensor. I also found any readings above 10 or below 5 to be inaccurate, leading to over/under injecting/eating due to the levels showing that I was either low or high when I wasn't. I have gone back to the finger prick testing as my main source of readings. Abbott are friendly and send a replacement out within a few days if you phone up and explain what happened.
