Didn’t stop me from developing DKA and hospital admission a few months back. The onset was too rapid, though fascinating to watch a rise into 30+ BG totally unresponsive to injected insulin. That was between episodes of vomiting. Felt surprisingly well otherwise. Touch thirsty, mind.

I must be in the wrong half.

Couldn't halve mine either owing to the fact I've never yet had one. However bearing in mind they always cost money to treat - let's not be knocking the fact that for anyone so affected it's a cheap way of preventing it.
