Freestyle Libre 2 issue in a music venue

I was at a music event at a large venue, and my sensor stopped working. App wasn’t updating and scanning it didn’t work either. I was worried the security scanner had somehow damaged the sensor, but when I got back out to the car I checked it and everything was working again.

Has anyone else met this problem? and if so any solutions?

Thanks

Carol

Hello, I went to a stadium music event a couple of years ago. I was patted down, but no scanners.the place was packed. I also use a third party app which puts a widget on the phone screen. I noticed connection loss. But I could scan NFC. I put it down to being closely surrounded by countless devices causing interference?

It can happen in places with a lot of Bluetooth devices, confuses the signals sometimes, but you should always be carrying a fingerprick meter and be able to use that until it recovers.

Not the ideal solution but yes, of course I always carry backup.

Something I’ve also noticed with the Libre, is any rapid BG movements (I’m talking verticals arrow up.) the sensor can fail to scan? (For a few minutes or so.) Which included cutting off BT ties with the app. Had this today after treating a low.
