Asked on the day of this thread, and got one the next day, well chuffed......

So far its really good, there is a basic mode and advanced mode..if your carb counting this will help you...........

Your HCP/DSN will need to provide you with a code to change any significant setting like ratios and correction factors, she is going to email me it today as I really dont need to go and see her or contact her every time I want to change something.....

Not had a chance to check out the PC interface, but it can do all sort of stuff.....

Anyone else got it? What are your thoughts...........

You only got it so quick cos i had my fingers crossed for you😛:D sereously glad you got one.

And for that I am truly grateful.......my fingers are crossed for you.....there shouldn't be a problem if your nurse is willing to work with you on using it as they cant just give it away without training and support....

Are they for both types?

Yeah, or at least for both types on insulin who count carbs, as that's its main function, to offer you a dose of insulin taking into account your carb intake, BG level, insulin/carb ratio and correction factor at that time of day......

One problem I have found is with the correction factor, it only allows you to set how much 1 unit drops by time of day, for me this value changes depending on what my BG is, it would require more programming I would imagine, but the meter can be updated online, so hope for the future.....
