after successfully using the free freestyle 3 sensor that was provided by Abbot, I purchased for sensors at costco, a major retail chain in the states. the first one worked fine, the second one failed, the third one would not activate, and the fourth one has fallen out of my arm after a shower. very frustrating. I reported the first failure to have it, and they agreed to send you a new sensor. I was on the phone for about 25 minutes with the person who didn't seem to know much about what she was doing. I've yet to report the remaining two sensor problems but I intend to purchase more sensors as they seem to be wonderful and easy to use.

We can't buy Libre 3 sensors in the UK, only available on prescription though we can buy Libre 2. With the Libre 2 which many of us use, the only way to get a duff sensor replaced free of charge is to report the failure to Abbott, either by phone as you did, or via email.
