France orders breathalyser for motorists

A new law has come into force in France making it compulsory for drivers to carry two breathalyser kits in their vehicles or risk an on-the-spot fine

With the breathalizer kts, your insulin gear, high vis jacket and warning triangle, spare light bulbs etc there'll be no room for your luggage (or beer/wine)
 
Grace period until November 2012, due to shortages of kits.
 
It's been on the cards since the end of last year Vicsetter and was made law a couple of months ago. Well before the elections there.

Re-usable digital ones are the answer, plus they don't only last 2 years! (ie the ordinary ones are only 'in date' for 2 years from manuafcture)
