It's called "The Sweet Life" by Anthony Worral Thompson. It has 101 indulgent recipes that use Splenda instead of sugar.

My Mum and I are going to trail and error some and if you like, I will post the best recipes for you lot to try!

First up is "Raspberry Cranachan"

Sounds good! Will let you know how it goes! 🙂 (must be good though! Only 13g carb!)

Hi Laura, only original recipes can be posted here, not those taken from books (for copyright reasons). It would be good if you could post a review of the book in the Recommended Books section though! 🙂

Oh OK. Sorry. I didn't take the time to read the rules.

Not to worry! My Mum and I have a few recipes we invented ourselves that I'm sure she will let me share over time!

I love love love puddings and baking etc. The problem is the diabetic thing can be a pain in the wotsits!
Let us know how the cooking goes with alternative sugars. I have done a few weight watchers alternatives which are great but can you bake cakes/biscuits/muffins with Splenda? I have never tried it and always wonder if it would give me belly ache if you catch my drift.
Keep us posted with this....thanks Bernie xx 🙂

hi all, tonight i made the blueberry muffins from this book! they're really tasty - not overly sweet and using fresh fruit is lovely, not like the muffins in the supermarket!

definitely will be making them again - i might bless you all with some at brighton! 😱 19g carbs per muffin 🙂
