Relationship to Diabetes
hi, Is anybody on this drug or do they know of anyone that is ? what side effects are most predominant ?

New one on me, sounds like something you clean up with after fixing the car. But wait, that's Swarfiga. Have you tried a Google search?

I found this on Wikipedia, perhaps it will help.

It's a new oral med for T2s and is supposed to lower BGs by inducing the kidneys to flush out glucose in the blood. Some of the side effects seem to be thrush and other UTIs. There's lots of information here http://www.netdoctor.co.uk/diabetes/medicines/forxiga.html

I don't think I should like to take it.

I have tried google , I was looking for someone that's taking it at present .doesn't look like it so thank you for your replies

It does seem to be pretty new to the NHS, it may be a while before we see more users. Sorry we weren't much help.
