Hi all,
Just saying a quick hello as a newbie to this space. I've had type 1 for 39 years, now loving the freedom and knowledge that Freestyle Libre and Omnipod have given me. Quite the change since starting with blood tests that required a good eye for colour to read, and a brace of glass syringes and 12 (rapidly blunted and thick) needles on diagnosis! Look forward to sharing experiences, support and getting to know you 🙂

What a difference a Libre makes, and alongside a pump it can make life so much more flexible.
I look forward to hearing more from you.

Hello @H3llsBells and welcome, glad you've joined us 🙂

Thank goodness for the fantastic technology of today compared to the crow bar needles of the good old days! It's great to see all the innovation happening.

This forum is a fabulous place for support ,help, knowledge, shared experiences and a rant should the need arise.🙂

Welcome to the forum @H3llsBells

Glad you’ve got yourself a T1 toolkit that seems to be really working for you.

Things are moving so quickly these days it can feel hard to keep up with the latest gadgets, but the basic principles (and fickleness and irritations!) remain the same :D
