I’d check my levels first before doing anything... no carbs in eggs but think some people inject to cover them so you may be ok ?

Generally people only inject for eggs (well the protein) in the absence of carbs and as the bread was 36g there should've been a substantial amount of carbs to not need anything for the eggs xx

Ah thanks for that I don’t normally have carbs with protein so have to inject to cover . You got any snow ?x

Had a few flakes not a lot . Mother in law lives near Inverness they’ve had quite a bit . The puppies love the snow so sort of hoping we get some x

I have 2 eggs on toast mainly for my breakfast and have to bolus 1unit for them, but it's very much a personal thing.

Inverness is about 114 miles from where I am, its not been lying but when there has been snow it's been pretty heavy, last week was moaning about the heat and now back to shivering! LOL xx

I was the same, I could go out in snow without a jacket and not feel cold in my later teens (wasn't overweight or menopausal though) then as soon as I was diagnosed started to feel the cold terribly, wish I had as I cocooned myself in my quilt last night and still shivered for over half an hour! My mum would just complain about the washing I was creating though 🙄 she's alright as she's in the front bedroom which is warmer to begin with and has MY hot water bottle as she hasn't bothered to see about getting herself a new one xx

Nothing worse than trying to get to sleep if you’re shivering. If I’m desperate I persuade the dog to get on the bed so I can cuddle him ‍♀️

I've been the same in my room since I was a kid, its North facing and like an ice box! Mum has Bubbles in her room as he doesn't get in mine because I don't want him near my insulin pens or BG meter, its Baltic just now but apparently my mum is "just fine" so refuses to put the heating on but when me and Bruce are sweating buckets and she's feeling cool she'll put it on 🙄 I get so frustrated when I'm cold too xx

Families are never easy are they . We’ve trained all our dogs so that if I have my diabetic bag they don’t come near me . Our older dog is amazing he will always be asleep my side of the bed if I go low he wakes me up anything under 4.5 and I’m hit or jumped on he has been amazing x
