Forgot Basal

Last night I am pretty sure I forgot to inject my Lantus before bed. I went bed on 10.4 and awoke to 11.4. I have injected NR with a correction and also 5 units of Lantus (I usually do 11 at night). I wonder what today will bring!?

Hi Newbs.....well guess who just took 12u Levemir instead of 7 !!! I'm SO not a morning person......
think I'm in for a day of hypos so will have to have loads of CHOCOLATE in between meals to counter that haha.

Not too great so far, 19.3 mid morning, responded to correction ok though.

glad to hear that the correction worked. All ok on my side. My one hour post prandial after breakfast was bit high (10.1, - same as on Tuesday but yesterday it was within range?!) - wish my body could make its mind up haha. Must be pregnancy hormones so think I have to increase by breakfast ratio tomorrow !

Newbs- we got one of those insulcheck devices to attach to the pen for lantus- so it rules out the did I?/didn't I? -cant remember how much ?20/25 maybe....has come in useful
