and boy are they good - not too brill for the BG though🙄

They look great Vic! 🙂 Your guests are treated very well (or are they all yours? 😱)

They look delicious! About 750g of carb right there 😉

I *love* freshly baked homemade bread but lack the self restraint to freeze some for later, so I always overindulge.....

Possible fodder for bacon rolls for the long drive down south next week (450miles ish), in the freezer prior to cooking the bacon on Sunday.

Guests get Toast. Unfortunately it takes too much time to make rolls for breakfast

Can't be it was only 500g flour + yeast+olive oil. So probably only 300g divided into 15 rolls - only 20g per roll. Does take restraint, especially with peanut butter and bramble jelly😱

Oh right, they must be smaller than the shop ones I sometimes get. Peanut butter and bramble jelly, yum :D

I bought one last year - a nice dark blue one. Makes great bread. I make bread with half strong white flour, half strong wholemeal, a little salt, yeast and rape seed oil. Makes great bread and it freezes quite well. This is a slight variation of a Paul Holywood recipe.
