I was on my feet and fairly static for about 8 hours yesterday. I was wearing protective boots - steel toecaps and mid-sole - which is fairly normal for me when I'm doing site work. After about six hours I had severe sharp pain around the outside edges of both feet. I have already had a diagnosis of moderate neuropathy in my feet, although they don't normally hurt. The only time I had this before I was again standing for hours, work again, but that time it was in normal shoes.

Is this likely to be related to neuropathy? I was diagnosed with a lack of sensation, not anything to do with foot pain.

i get it too.. but have been told my pulses are fine ....???? put it down to being a picesean

Most people I know get foot pain if they are in one place for a long time. next time you are on site, is there any chance you can move about or get a sit down from time to time?
