Hi friends,
I've been looking at adverts for foot massagers and the manufacturers claim that they help with circulatory problems of diabetes sufferers.
Has anybody got any experience of using this type of equipment, and are they a worthwhile investment?

Tony

i havent used one but was told to avoid them like the plague by my dn and doc as i was told a waste of money and could make things worse for my feet i was told not to use a foot spa nor use the vibro plates in the gym as i use the latter two but everyone to their own.

Yup afraid i have been told the same dont go near them.

I suspect that foot massagers are OK for anyone with normal circulation and normal nerves, but not for anyone with circulation problems nor neuropathy, diabetes or not. Plus, Advertising Standards Authority is very tough on health claims in adverts, so worth reporting if there are any unsubstantiated claims.

Thanks all. Being new to this problem I will keep to seeking advice from fellow sufferers.

Tony
