Hi, I’m hoping someone can advise me please. My 13 year old child is T1D and has dry feet and I’m wanting to know if putting castor oil on them is safe? I will ask when we are back at clinic but thought it wouldn’t hurt to ask here. Thanks x

I would ask in your pharmacy for something specifically designed for use on your feet, it is likely to be more effective and less messy.
It is important to take good care of feet if diabetic.
According to my chiropodist, any moisturiser is OK for feet as long as it's used regularly. I would imagine castor oil would be quite messy and wouldn't soak in very well.
Don't use if there are open cuts and don't moisturise between the toes.
