Hi
As a T1, I get an annual foot check to make sure my tootsies are in good working order.
However, I've just come back from visiting my friends' father-in-law at the hospital and noticed the condition that his feet are in. The nails are quite fragile and his feet are quite black with lots of hard skin. I checked with his wife and she confirmed that he's never had a foot check (he doesn't have a tester either, but that's another issue!!).
Should he get a check-up as a T2 and should I be concerned about the state of his feet? Does living in Scotland make any difference too?
Any comments/advice will be much appreciated!!
