Hi, can I please ask a bit of advice on recording food and exercise? Does anyone use the app my fitness pal? I have used it in the past abd I know it shows warnings when the carbs or fat are too high. I quite like it but wanted to check on here first.
Thank you

Personally I wouldn't, from looking at apps like that previously many items list the wrong nutrition compared to the packet of the item, when I was recording food I just wrote it all down in an A4 refill pad, I'd still do it that way now as apps can crash etc whereas I'd always have that pad to hand xx

I just wrote mine down in a suitable sized book.

I have used my fitness Pal for years when trying to loose weight and find it a great help but as suggested you scan in the food and it comes up with the nutritional values, not always 100% but works well for me.

I’ve used My Fitness Pal before. I found it fine. It could remember your normal meals if you set them up, so I used that feature to save me typing things in each time. I found the nutrition accurate and usually found it easy to find the item I wanted.

As with all these things, the difficult part is remembering to fill it in!
