Hi Maxwell, welcome to the forum.

Diet is probably one of the most debated topics on the forum and must have the widest range of opinions to go with it. You may get a lot of suggestions, all of which work for the person making them. It’s important to find what works for you. In the meantime, you might find the links below useful.

A lucky type two diabetic can have normal tests and levels just by not eating the heavy dense carb foods we are urged to eat because they are 'healthy'.
I stick to foods which are no more than 10 percent carbs, and once in a while I eat some high cocoa chocolate, but not every week.
Eating 50 gm of carbs a day sorted out my diabetes, but I have dropped down to 40 gm now as I am trying to lower weight.

Hi Maxwell, it could be useful to understand a little more about how you manage your diabetes. Do you take medication, and if so, what? The meds you are taking (or not) could impact people's advice.

Welcome Maxwell, There are LOTS of posts about food. Have a look at history 🙂
