I am absolutely heartbroken to say that my darling mum passed away in December 2022.
She faded away and passed like the Queen of old age.

At the same hospice and on the same date as my father, her husband passed in 2005.
In a dark way it is romantic, it is like he came for her.

I want to thank everyone for your support when I needed it and for your own posts and responses about diabetes, you have all been a great support for my effective care for my mums diabetes.

((((((((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))))) So sorry for your loss @Seabreeze and thinking of you at this sad time.

I’m so sorry for your loss. It sounds like it was gentle end for her xx

My condolences at this sad time

Thank you everyone.

I have much comfort that she said she's had a lovely life and loved us all dearly and thanked me for her care.
She said she wants me to live and be happy.

So sorry to hear about your Mum but it sounds like a peaceful parting, however old someone is it is still sad.

Ah I’m so sorry to read this @Seabreeze

She sounds like an amazing and very caring woman. What lovely sentiments to leave with you.

Hope the formalities aren’t too burdensome for you, and you find ways to process your grief without being overwhelmed by it too often.

And thanks for being part of our community.
