Hi All

Caught the flu I think of my son. Only slept for about an hour last night and was wet through all night.

Migrated to the sofa this morning inf feeling dog rough. Sue to how I’m feeling I haven’t even bothered regular BG testing today. During the night I was at 14 and haven’t been that high for months. I put this down to the virus.

This morning when I got up I was 7.7. When you are sick am I the only one that can’t be bothered to test?

Not at all.
I can test right at the start to sort of confirm I’m coming down with something and then I often just can’t summon the energy to bother if I’m ill ill.

Know what you mean, only it's a bit de rigueur but at least scanning my Libre is a lot easier and informative hence leads me to follow up with a glucometer check if the scan value informs me I need to correct something by either carbs or insulin.

I test more when I’m ill to keep an eye on all the corrections

Sorry to hear you’ve got the lurgy @sharp00782

Get well soon!
